Feeding Guidelines
Every cat is unique. Use this guide as a starting point and adjust according to your cat’s age, weight, activity level, and health condition.
Always try to feed a mix of dry and wet food to reap the benefits of both. While wet food has a higher moisture content, dry food helps with dental health.
Kittens (Up to 12 months)
Feed 3–4 smaller meals daily. Choose food formulated for growth. Although Pawsitive Fuel's selection has one of the highest protein levels in the market, it may be more suitable for adult cats unless there are specific health needs. I personally fed my kitten with the same formula when he had FIP, which gave rise to the birth of Pawsitive Fuel.
Adult Cats (1 - 7 years)
Feed twice a day. 1 to 2 cans a day, to be supplemented with kibbles. If there are no specific health concerns, we recommend feeding a variety of Pawsitive Fuel selection for well balanced holistic wellness.
Seniors (7+ years)
Provide smaller, more frequent meals tailored for lower activity levels. 1 to 2 cans a day spread out over several meals.
