Losing a pet is heartbreaking. When my beloved tripod cat passed in June 2024, I swore I’d never have another — I couldn’t bear the pain again. But fate had other plans. Two sweet rescue kittens entered my life, filling my days with love.
Then, tragedy struck a second time. One of them, at only 5 months old, was diagnosed with FIP, a deadly immunity related disease. Despite medication, he stopped eating, and I feared the worst.
Desperate to save him, I turned to what he loved most — food from my plate. I researched tirelessly, crafting meals infused with immune-boosting herbs. Slowly, he regained his appetite, his strength, and his playful spirit.
As he nears the end of his treatment, I couldn’t help but think — what if better nutrition could have saved more cats?
That question gave birth to Pawsitive Fuel — a brand dedicated to nourishing cats with the wisdom of oriental medicine, wellness-focused meals, just like the ones my mom made for me when I was sick, and the ones that helped my kitten fight back and thrive.
